WWF World Tag Team Title Match - Demolition (Ax & Smash) (c) vs. The Rockers (Marty Jannetty & Shawn Michaels) - WWF 24/10/1988
The start of the match is great. The Rockers using their speed and chemistry to overwhelm Smash, constantly locking him in arm wringers and controlling the match. All that and it only could be stopped with a thumb in the eye. Classic move. The match keeps a nice brisk pace, even when Demolition go one offence. The heat section was good but not great although the transition to it with Ax pulling down the ropes to make Michaels fall over was great. The hot tag was pretty wild at least. ***3/4
The Fabulous Rougeaus Brothers (Jacques Rougeau & Raymond Rougeau) vs. The Rockers (Marty Jannetty & Shawn Michaels) - WWF 25/07/1988
This was wild. Fast action to you would expect from the Rockers. Haku and Barbarian bought it big. This was good and everyone clicked. ***1/4

If The Rougeaus do anything, they create tons of heat for themselves and the match. They bump and stooge well for the Rockers who work their magic. Good match. ***1/2

There start was very good. Some good wrestling early on with Michaels out-wrestling Arn to the point of making him tag out to Tully and then totally schooling Tully when he tries to pull a fast one on him. Great stuff. There was some great tag wrestling in the match, some really cool spots, like The Brain Busters catching Michaels when he attempts a headscissors with a hot shot in the ropes which was a fantastic transition into the Brain Busters gaining control in the match and over Michaels. I love Tully in this match, the small mannerisms that he does after he does something unsportsman-like were excellent. As always, Jannetty makes a really fun hot tag which transitions to the finish nicely. Rockers was good, the Brain Busters were excellent. ****1/4
