King Of The Ring Finals: Chad Gable vs Baron Corbin

I've not been following the tournament at all so I'm totally surprised that both of these two got so far.

The potential for both men has been there for a while. Gable clearly showed in his American Alpha run that he could been great if given the chance to develop in these matches. Corbin has always shown himself to be good but he is stuck in a certain role and doesn't really show off his strengths often enough in matches. And now both guys had their chance here. And they delivered on that promise. Gable was a pinball here. His took some sick bumps for Corbin here, like the back body drop on the outside. Corbin upped the tempo and intensity of his offence a ton - he had some great ways to connect Gable's offence to his so he could set up a clothesline or a big boot. His great heel work was able to gain some fan reaction early in the bout where the fans were rather tepid, to say the least. Gable was a great underdog. His flurries of offence were electric, his counters to Corbin's offence, his great use of the ankle -- the tease and execution of it were superb -- and him pulling off the Chaos Theory on someone with size of Corbin was mind-blowing. This was a pretty damn great David v Goliath match-up. ****
