HARASHIMA vs. Shunma Katsumata - DDT A Man Overcame Numerous Hardships And Reached The Land Of Fukushima! 2019 23/09/2019
HARASHIMA, in case people don’t know, is the former Ace of DDT. And pretty much still embodies everything DDT is and works at an extremely high level. HARASHIMA, for me, has been by far one of the best wrestlers of 2019 and has totally bolstered his Wrestler Of The Decade Campaign. Shunma Katsumata, is a relatively up-and-comer that was a mainstay in DNA before it shut down and every since, he has been prevalent on the DDT main shows apart of ALL OUT (Partnered with Yuki Ino, Akito and of course, the ace of DDT, Konosuke Takeshita). The match plays off like you think it would. HARASHIMA, the veteran of the match, outworks Katsumata. Using his superior technical skills to keep on top of Katsumata. Katsumata has some good looking aerial offence and uses it well to keep himself in the match. HARASHIMA keeps ahead though and unleashes some stiff strikes. Katssumata has some nice looking  mushroom stomps that don’t catch clean but makes it all the more painful to watch. HARASHIMA made short work of him with a Somato shortly thereafter. A fun match. ***

ALL OUT (Akito, Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ino) vs. DAMNATION (Daisuke Sasaki, Mad Paulie & Soma Takao) - DDT A Man Overcame Numerous Hardships And Reached The Land Of Fukushima! 2019 23/09/2019
DAMNATION is THE stable in DDT. They are the most popular in the company, they don’t conform, they don’t kiss ass or get married. They are awesome. Whether it’s Sasaki being drunk and perverted or Mad Paulie being Mad Paulie, they are always interesting to watch. Soma Takao is someone I love as well, although I find myself questioning at times. Lol. He does, however, have the best theme song in wrestling. ALL OUT is the stable led by Konosuke Takeshita, the current KO-D Openweight champion. Maybe the best wrestlers in the company depending on what you want. Takeshita can be generic at times but he generally puts how extremely high quality matches. Akito is a great technical wrestler. Ino is a great hoss that needs the chance to shine. DAMNATION have got all the nonesene for this match. Using a sign, of all things, to hurt Ino’s knee and use it as the catalyst for the cutting off the ring and controlling the match. DAMNATION does some great work on the leg, taking turns throwing their entire body onto the knee joint. Ino really sells the knee well too. Really bostering his skill. Then once Takeshita gets in the ring, the tide turns when ALL OUT show off some cohesive tag work. Akito and Takao have a great stretch of wrestling where they are. I love Sasaki in the match. Just adding little things like throwing Ino into Akito, taking him out with a spear. His pulling the red in his way to avoid an Ino smart. Just very smart. The finishing stretch was fun and Ino got the shine in that time as well. And he made good use of it. ***1/2
