Nextream (Kento Miyahara & Yuma Aoyagi) vs. Violent Giants (Suwama & Shuji Ishikawa) - AJPW Real World Tag League Day 1 11/11/2019
There is nothing more interesting than seeing the Violent Giants dressed up like they are the Fabulous Ones, an 80s Tag Team with Stan Lane and Steve Kern, with sparkling jackets. Violent Giants were very good here. They used their size perfectly to control the match and bring some excitement to the mix. They played off the smaller Aoyagi and Miyahara well and it lead to a compelling match. Yuma Aoyagi was fairly bland during his FIP section but I think he was pretty good when on offence either with Miyahara or one v one. The finishing stretch was good. It didn't elevate the match at all but it was a nice explanation point. ***1/2

RevPro Undisputed British Cruiserweight Title Match: El Phantasmo (c) vs. SHO - NJPW Showdown In San Jose 09/11/2019
This was really good. Phantasmo attacking Sho's injured back was great. That apron powerbomb looked brutal as well. Him doing simple things like dig Sho with forearms to the area was great as well. His heel work was very good. Sho's selling was really good for the most part. Sho making comebacks was great. ***1/2

CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada & Will Ospreay) vs. Amazing Red & Kota Ibushi - NJPW Showdown In San Jose 09/11/2019
There was a ton of potentially great match ups here. Ospreay vs Ibushi, Okada vs Red. Red vs Ospreay. Okada vs Ibushi. And all of it delivered on that promise. Ibushi and Okada did there stuff, playing to the crowd, doing the signature strike exchanges, you really get the sense that they are saving stuff for the Dome, as they should, but they gave enough to put on a show as well. Red vs Ospreay had some great exchanges. Their Super J Cup match was good and they brought the good elements of that match to this one. Okada vs Red was a little sloppy due to the size different but it was generally good. The finish with Okada catching Red doing the moonsault and nailing the tombstone/Rainmaker combination was awesome. Ibushi and Okada brought tons of personality to the match, even in their little post match exchange. ***1/2
