DAMNATION Vs BOYZ!: DAMNATION (Soma Takao & Tetsuya Endo) Vs Jun Masaoka & Kazuki Hirata
Really fun opening match. DAMNATION arguing the entire time and making up with a hug was really good storytelling, and super funny to boot. Hirata and Masaoka brought high energy tag work as well. ***1/4
Keigo Nakamura BOYZ Assessment Match: Hiroshi Yamato Vs Keigo Nakamura
A good battle of songs prior to the match. Nakamura looked really solid and is coming along nicely. Hiroshi Yamato kept things simple but effective. ***
BOYZ-Like Exchange Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Masahiro Takanashi Vs Shuichiro Tominaga & Shota
I thought this was excellent. There was so much fluidity in this match. It's hard to pull off when it's very technical based but they kept the tempo very high, with everything coming together so beautifully done. Takeshita and Tominaga had some exciting exchanges with Takeshita using his power to gain leverage on headlock or body twists and Tominaga using his long frame to twist Takeshita in a pretzel. Shota and Takanashi were extremely fun whenever they were involved as well. Great match with some great technical wrestling. ***3/4
Fairy BOYZ: Yasu Urano & Antonio Honda Vs Kazusada Higuchi & Naomi Yoshimura
I liked this, I probably could've done with a bit more though. The Honda stuff was fun but the rest of the match felt slightly flat and not as interesting as it looks on paper. **3/4
BOYZ Ace Showdown: MAO Vs Yuki Ueno
A really good extended match. Exactly what MAO needed before his big match with Masato Tanaka for the KO-D Openweight Title Match. This had a great mix of high flying and technical wrestling. Ueno looks better and better whenever I see him. MAO was so smooth in this match, too. Everything came off perfectly. He looked great being the more dominant of the two, keeping one step ahead of Ueno and keeping him down. ***1/2
HomoClo Revival: Danshoku Dino, Makoto Oishi & Akito Vs HARASHIMA, Keisuke Ishii & Mizuki Watase
This was tons of fun. This was built around everyone doing a Momoiro Clover Z cosplay singing Coco Natsu. It was really funny but there was tons of goof wrestling in between all the dancing too. Oishi and Ishii had a great exchange involving the cravate. The ending with everyone teasing their moves before dancing to Coco Natsu ruled. ***1/2
