Natural Vibes (Genki Horiguchi, Jacky Funky Kamei, Kzy & U-T) vs. HIGH-END (Ben-K, Dragon Kid, Kagetora & YAMATO)
This was a solid opening match to start the set of Korakuen shows. Since it was an opener, this didn't have the full glitz that a match higher on the card would possess. Genki Horiguchi, Kamei, etc took most of the match with their goofy character work and gimmicks. YAMATO wins with the Galleria decisively. ***
BIG BOSS Shimizu vs. Takumi Hayakawa
A simple squash match for Shimizu. Hayakawa stood no chance. SQUASH.
Naruki Doi & Takashi Yoshida vs. R.E.D. (BxB Hulk & KAI)
If this is any indication of the upcoming Dream Gate Title Match between KAI and Yoshida, then no thank you. This was very mediocre with neither team showing much quality throughout the match despite it having 3 Dream Gate Champions in it. This felt like a house show match with an angle to set up a title match. **
Open The Triangle Gate Title Match: MASQUERADE (Jason Lee, Kota Minoura & Shun Skywalker) (c) vs. R.E.D. (Eita, H.Y.O & Kaito Ishida)
Now this is what I'm talking about. Dragon Gate has been shook up in many ways. MASQUERADE finally explode with constant disagreements throughout the match leading to Minoura accidentally striking Shun Skywalker, who was acting like a total ass the whole match, stealing Minoura and Jason Lee's thunder but expecting them to play along with his one man show. HYO didn't fare much better either with Eita and Ishida rejecting him out right. The signs pointed to a HYO face turn and Shun heel turn but we only got one of those. HYO offered Shun a chance to join R.E.D and he took it. Eita and Ishida were complaining about that decision when the rest of the group attacked them. Therefore Eita and Ishida turned face! What a roller coaster. What will happen with the Triangle Gate titles now two have turned face and are no longer with the group? Is this the end of MASQUERADE or just the one with Shun in. And oh, the match was rather good as well. Great storytelling through work alone. ***3/4
Open The Brave Gate Title Match: SB KENTo (c) vs. Dragon Dia
AND WE AREN'T DONE! GM Saito orders a Brave Gate Title Match to take place immediately with SBK defending against the returning Dragon Dia, who is unmasked and sporting a skateboard. Dia looks good but RED is swarming around the ring until Dia Inferno turns face as well. Inferno throwing the powder in HYO's face was a big holy shit moment. And it is now confirmed that Yuki Yoshioka is Dia Inferno, the worst kept secret has been revealed to the world. Dragon Dia takes advantage of the shocking turn and wins the Brave Gate Title. Chaos. **
What a day for Dragon Gate. Storylines galore.
Shun Skywalker has joined with HYO and RED, after Minoura hit him with a box, costing them the Triangle Gate tires. RED then turned on Eita and Kaito Ishida, who were the groups #1 and #2. Now they have a fake babyface like gimmick where they act like faces but aren't. Dragon Dia returned to defeat SBK for the Brave Gate titles with the help of Dia Inferno, his rival, who turned on RED in the process. Inferno also unmasked, revealing that he was Yuki Yoshioka (shock). So much has happened. It almost makes up for Yoshida getting a Dream Gate Title Match. Almost.
