The result aside, which is a very boring booking choice, the match was quite splendid, being a very exciting match with some great work built around the legs from Desperado in the early parts of the match, building to a more counter driven match. Desperado had some great, solid attacks to use against Hiromu’s leg, which was injured in an earlier tournament bout against Yoshinobu Kanemaru but he was just as good in the air as well. He hit a sweet tope con hilo through the middle ropes later in the match, after Hiromu failed to hit the sunset bomb to the floor due to his knee. Hiromu brought some neat counters. Not all of them were fluid or looked great but enough of them were able to produce a general exciting momentum switch. The match had a rock solid finish with Hiromu modifying the Timb Bomb but they peaked a few minutes or so prior where Hiromu kicked out of two Pinche Locos and then once more when Hiromu nailed a desotryer and Despy refused to go down. A very good BOSJ Finals. ****
