El Hijo del Santo, Octagon & Perro Aguayo vs. El Satanico, Heavy Metal & La Parka - AAA Sim Limite - 17/10/1993
There are some awesome names in this match and Heavy Metal. But seriously, Santo, Perro, Satanico and La Parka all in the same ring? Awesome. Mass brawl to start with. The rudos establish their dominance. Parka ties Octagon’s mask onto the ropes before driving his knees into him, Satanico beats the shit out of Perro Aguayo before joining Parka. Santo is relegated to the outside by Heavy Metal, where he seemingly hurts his leg that Parka targets immediately once he gets into the ring. The 3 on 1 advantage is too much even for Hijo del Santo, who is picked apart by the rudo trios, who are like sadistic dogs, each taking turns ripping at Santo. Satanico even does the dastardly move by picking Santo up from a sure pin to inflict more damage. The tecnico try to make a save but the rudos beat them down too and Parka pins Perro after a diving senton. Incredible first fall. Everything a first fall in lucha should be.

The second fall is more of the same, thankfully. The rudos waste little time brawling once more and injuring their counterparts. Parka and Satanico and smoking Aguyao with punches and Metal is after Santo’s leg again. Terrific wrestling. The tecnicos soon start mounting a comeback. Santo posts Heavy Metal balls first into the post, Perro winds Parka with a cut punch and Octagon rips at Satanico’s face. Soon the rudos re-group and try to strategize and slow down the momentum of their opponents, which serves as a good restart to let the crowd heat sizzle. The fans chant for Perro when in the ring against Parka, although he gets some chants of their own, and the two exchange some cool counters with Perro winning the exchange. Octagon and Satanico’s turn is next and they do one or two moves before Satanico tries to claims a foul, which Tirentes is willing to here, much to the ire of Octagon. Santo and Heavy Metal have one of their best stretches of wrestling of their feud yet that ended with a headscissor sending Metal to the floor and into the crowd backwards. A wild bump too. Even though the match had settled into a more professional and rule abiding one, the heat and intensity of what came before it still remains. Impressively contracted match from the lot. And the finish being a rudos win is a big surprise. La Parka pins Perro Aguayo once more after being on him in a tree of woe. A big result for the blossoming Patka. And while the finish wasn’t a terrific end to the match, this still was a quality bit of wrestling. ****1/4
