Young Lion Cup 1985 Final Match: Keiichi Yamada vs. Shunji Kosugi A pre-mask Liger and the obscure Kosungi having 21 minutes to let loose, showcasing all of their training and skills is quite a viewing experience. And with Tatsumi Fujinami as referee too. Liger showed in his 90s run that he was a technical wrestler above all else, but this was another level to that. He’s practically the complete wrestler already at this stage. Kosugi shows some promise and doesn’t fall behind skill wise but lacks that finesse compared to Liger. Regardless of all that, the efforts are high and the crowd thrives on that energy, cheering for both men (mostly Liger), rewarding their efforts. #1 Contender Match: Bryan Danielson vs Rush - AEW Dynamite #175 - Championship Fight Night - 08/02/2023 The sound of the match sounds pretty damn good and this got tons of praise. I don’t usually believe a word the inmates say about AEW but I can see this being awesome. The match is preceded by MJF, Bryan’s opponent at the upcoming PPV AEW Revolution 2023 (but this isn’t confirmed at the time of the match) cutting a promo, drawing heat from the spanish speaking crowd, claiming he doesn’t speak spanish, which is a great bit and orders Aubrey the ref to count a missing Bryan out. It is revealed that Bryan has been locked into a private dressing room by presumably D-Generation X, as this is late 1999-2000s WWF, apparently. Bryan is able to escape and sprints to the ring to start the match. Rush attacks with stomps and chops before bowing to the crowd. NJPW Battle Formation In Tokyo Dome 1996 & Keiji Muto & Kensuke Sasaki vs Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Masahiro Chono

NJPW Breaking Away Dream Battle - 05/04/1996 Keiji Muto & Kensuke Sasaki vs. Ookami Gundan (Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Masahiro Chono) This was heated from even before the bell, Ookami Gundan made their way into the ring only to be attacked by Mutoh and Sasaki barely as the music changed. The youthful counterparts were the focus of the match. Sasaki was highlighted by the commentators over Mutoh given his history with Ten-Cho, and he seemed to be highlighted in the match as well, looking strong as the aggressor later in the match. Additionally, Masa Saito praised Tenzan for his hard work recently and claims he is rising the ranks in the promotion. Chono and Mutoh didn't have as strong of an exchange as you'd expect but the match hardly suffered for it.
